Nominations for bankmecu Gippstar Awards
Do you know of someone within the Gippsland region who has excelled in their chosen field of sport? If so, then why not nominate them for the prestigious bankmecu Gippstar sporting awards?
The bankmecu Gippstar Awards are designed to recognise sporting excellence in Gippsland's sportsmen and sports women, amateur or professional, of any age.
The main awards are provided for senior and junior categories and monthly winners are announced.
Awards also acknowledge sporting teams and, in the Special Achievers category, outstanding coaches, umpires, administrators and other club people.
Annual Awards are announced in July of each year. They consider performances in the preceding 12 months, that is, from July in the previous year to June in the present year.
