Lawn Bowls Program
Lawn bowls was added to the Academy’s programs in 2006. In the short time the program has been running Academy bowlers have achieved great recognition for their skills and achievements in state and national-level competition.

Our Joint Head Coaches, Lorraine Steel and Jack Unmack, have planned a program to develop the skill and tactical components of bowling performance. Both have established reputations as top players and have a great depth of bowling knowledge.
The 2009-10 squad is a balance between new members and those returning after one or more years in the squad. New recruits can look forward to the support and example of experienced players to help in their progress.
The Academy's Lawn Bowls Program is sponsored by five Gippsland clubs - Lakes Entrance Bowls Club, Morwell Bowling Club, Sale Bowls Club, Traralgon Bowls Club and Yallourn Bowling Club.
The sponsoring clubs have also contributed to the program's planning. We are grateful for their support for the program and the encouragement they have also given to squad members.
