Congratulations to Adam Murray from Boolarra for his recent efforts in Archery who is the Gippstar March “Open” Award Winner.  Adam won Gold and Silver at  the 2 day ABA 3d national championships, one of the hardest archery ranges in Australia. He also won Silver at the State 3d archery championships, also a 2 day event as well as silver in the world field archery championships.

The Gippstar March “Junior” Award Winner is Jessica Jackson from Longford for Surf Life Saving – Beach Flags.  Jessica competed at the Australian Surf Life Saving Championships at North Kirra Qld for Seaspray SLSC where she made the final of the u15 beach flags finishing 9th. She also competed at the State competition of Victorian Surf Life Saving Championships at Port Fairy where she won silver in the Individual U15 beach flags final and was also a part of a composite beach sprint relay team (Hampton and Sorrento SLSC) that won a gold medal for the u15 beach relay event.

April nominations for Gippstar have closed and nominations for May will close on 14th June 2017.

  • Gippsland Sporting Champion

These Annual awards can be nominated at any time during the current Gippstar year.
