Congratulations to our June Gippstar winners!

Rhys Pollerd is our Gippstar Junior monthly winner for the month of June 2023. Rhys is from Traralgon and competes in the sport of Archery.
Rhys,13 years of age, competed in the 2023 National Field Archery Championships, and won Gold in the u16 age group. In the 2023 Trans Tasman Archery Competition – u16 – his results were: Individual Gold & Team Runners Up. Rhys’ achievements to date are: National Age Field Champion; Silver at Victorian State Target Championships; Gold Medal 720 round; Gold Medal Individual Matchplay; Silver Medal Mixed Teams Matchplay at 2023 Trans Tasman Archery Championships.

Jessica Jackson is our Gippstar Open monthly winner for the month of June 2023. Jessica is from Longford and competes in the sport of Surf Life Saving Beach Sprint and Flags and is a patrolling member of the Seaspray Surf Life Saving Club.
Jessica’s amazing achievements this year are: Surf Life Saving State Championships Open Beach Sprint – Bronze; Surf Life Saving State Championships Open Beach Sprint – Bronze; Summer of Surf (Surf Lifesaving) State Carnival Open Beach Flags – Gold; May 2023 selected for Elite Athletes Training Camp with Life Saving Victoria; Silver Medal State Surf Life Saving Championships; Open Beach Relay First Place Pennants at Altona, Sth Melbourne and Hampton State Carnivals (Surf Lifesaving); Silver Medal State Championships (Surf Life Saving); Open Mixed Relay.
Jessica trains with Seaspray Beach Team and is coached by Denis Huffer (Wellington Athletics). She is on the Seaspray SLSC Committee and is Club Captain, Patrolling Member and IRB driver. Jessica also is a mentor to youth members and assists with Water Safety and Coaching the Nipper Program while also assisting with club fundraising and events.
