Squash Program sets high targets, 3 March 2005The Squash program has set higher targets in 2005 with the program concluding with a high performance camp organised through the VIS and Victorian Squash Federation. The aim is to develop a more holistic program through providing more training sessions both on the squash court and off it. The coach for 2005 is Neil Young, and Gary Templeton will assist him along with guidance from VIS head coach Roger Flynn. Along with the on court training, athletes will also complete strength and conditioning exercises, specific to Squash, by Strength and conditioning coach, Sam Fenton and also participate in a variety of educative sessions based on nutrition, sports psychology, time management and goal setting. Sponsors Ken Westfield, Gippsland Environmental Services and Goto Pty Ltd have once again come on board and the Academy thanks them for their contribution in 2004 and over the next twelve months.
