David is a Registered Psychologist and a full member of the College of Sport Psychology. David works with both athletic and non-athletic populations to provide assistance in a range of areas. David works with people experiencing difficulties with anxiety, depression, conflict management, relationships, eating disorders, confidence issues, communication, pre and post injury issues and pain management. David has worked with athletes from a range of sports including Cricket, AFL, Soccer, Volleyball, Cycling, Tennis, Table Tennis and Martial Arts to name a few. David is also currently the Head Psychologist for the Malaysian Olympic Cycling team and the Australian Paralympic Table Tennis team. In addition to working with a number of different sports, David has also been employed in a variety of ways that have seen him work with coaches and staff as well as athletes. Outside of the sporting arena David has also served as a lecturer at both Victoria University and Australian Catholic University. David uses a wide range of techniques when providing services for clients and organizations. He is influenced heavily by mindfulness based cognitive therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy and psychodynamic approaches to therapy. David works with clients of various ages and backgrounds, and enjoys the opportunity to assist all clients with their individual therapeutic goals.
