Squash Program
The Academy's Squash Program is now in its sixth year, having commenced in June 2004.
Squash Vic's support was invaluable in developing the program. Their continuing involvement is a factor in our program's success with the Academy able to foster a number of Victoria's top junior players.
For this year Mark Soutar has been appointed Head Coach, taking over from Neil Young. Mark has been with the Squash program since its inception and he, along with Assistant Coach Dino Zagami, holds a coaching appointment with the VIS.
In the squash program, coaches endeavour to develop and balance all the components of fitness and performance. They are assisted by a number of specialist coaches, such as in strength and conditioning, where supplementary programs may be provided.
